Cool competition at Crafts u print

I just had to let you know about the Crafty Bob treasure hunt which is being held at Craftsuprint.com

To save time I've copied and pasted the site blurb about competion.

Crafty Bob is our new crafty character, and what a crafty chap he is!

The rules are simple.
Crafty Bob likes to play 'Hide-n-Seek', just find the waving Crafty Bob on the Craftsuprint website and you will win 'The Bobpot'.
When you have found 'Wavy Bob' just click on him and fill in your details to claim your CASH PRIZE.
The first person to click on the ‘I FOUND BOB’ button will win the Bobpot Total.
You must be willing to accept a paypal payment as this is how your winnings will be paid.
There are a few 'Red Herrings', in other words 'Decoys' out there! - so be warned. Also there may be clues left in the forum, so keep an eye out for Crafty Bob in there!
Remember you are looking for a Crafty Bob that is waving, exactly the same as the sample shown below.
Once Crafty Bob is found, the winner will be displayed on the homepage and then verified. Crafty Bob will then go and hide and the fun will start again!

The first Bobpot has just been won at £103, once verified the comp will start again.

As a designer, I am not allowed to take part so I thought I would let all of you know.

Beware though, it is a great big site!

Best of luck

Alison

Merry Christmas, a big thanks and some digital scrapbooking freebies for you.

With Christmas almost upon us, I thought I would post some little gifts to thank you for following my blog.
I will be busy in the run up to Christmas day , so I will probably not get much of a chance to be online.

I have lots of plans for after the New Year, and my first freebie gives a small taster of what I'm going to be up to.

It is a little add on to the kit I am working on. Although it is for scrapbooking, I am sure it could be utilised by all you card makers in some way. I hope you like it.

The DOWNLOAD link for kit

I will have more digital scrapbooking freebies on offer in mid January as part of Stuff to Scraps designer challenge and of course there is the STS blog train on the 1st of February.

My second freebie for you, is 3 of my printable feastive door hanger files.  These freebies are for Personal Use only

Finally I thought I would post you a preview of my digital stamp that will be available in January at the 50/50 Club.  It will come as a line drawing but here's what I did with the image.

There are so many wonderful artists who will offer a freebie digital image to download each month and only to the exclusive 50 crafters who become members.

The membership fees are £2 per month and if you recruit a member when you join your first month's fees are free.

The is also a monthly money prize to crafters and designers alike.

Well worth joining and there are still a few places available.

Well I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Gid New Year.

All the best when it comes.

Hugs

Scrapbooking Designer Darling Contest at Stuff to Scrap

Unfortunately I never made the grade for round 3 of the Gingerscraps designer challenge, but it was great fun to join in and I learned a lot from the experience. So I was delighted to see that Stuff to Scrap forum is holding a similar competition next month.

Starting January 11th, Stuff to Scrap is holding a Designer Darling competition for new designers looking for a home, and for designers just looking to expand their stores.

Come join the fun, get great feedback, ask questions, and participate for your chance to join Stuff To Scrap as a Designer Darling.

Sign ups going on now. Click HERE to sign up or for questions go HERE.

I have  recently joined the design team at  Craftuprint.com, and have a range of printable Christmas Door Hanger templates for sale. Great for kiddies bedroom doors, so Santa finds his way and fills their stockings!

At present, I've closed my shop at Your Special Delivery, as  I have been having difficulties with the transfer of large files via e-mail, although Gina is in the process of  changing our system.

So in the New Year I will carry out a revamp in both the shop and this blog.

As I said before, our official challenge blog has been moved to Your Special Delivery blogspot.com
and you must check out Gina's brand new 50/50 members only blog, which will be home to 50 designers and 50 crafters.
Each designer posts one of their design images each month and the crafting members are free to download all 50. With competitions and money prizes for both Designers and Crafters it is a fun and exciting place to be.
There is a small enrolment fee to this exclusive club, but with 50 designs per month it's a snip at the price.
Enrolment and grand opening party has now started ,so check it out you won't be disappointed.

Digital Scrapbook Mini Kit Freebie link

Here is my entry in the  second stage of the Gingerscraps Designer Call/ challenge.

The theme this week was to design a mini kit using ONE hue only. You were allowed to use a small amount of black, white and a metal in your design but the kit had to be predominantly your chosen hue.

At least ten of the kit elements, all your own design, with no CU designers resources used.

At first I found the challenge tough going,  but once I got into the swing of things I came up with this little kit.

If you would like to download my kit, here is the link papers

                                                                                 elements

Having a senior moment! doh! + News of the all new YSD blog

I've had a small hiccup with my STS blog train entry. I didn't realise that today is the 1st of December! My file is at home on my computer and I, on the other hand, am at my friend's house. Unfortunately, I can't post it until tomorrow now.

I'll get it out as quickly as possible in the morning.

Now here's a bit of news.

Gina has started a new official 'your special delivery' blog. You'll find all sorts of information, links and freebie's there. It will become the place for our new style monthly Your Special Delivery challenge, which starts in the New Year.  As we knew you ladies will be busy on the lead up to Christmas we have decided to forgo another challenge until this time and start afresh in 2010. But do drop by, because I'm going to post a little Chistmas present to you all next week.
